Career Talk 2025
On 10 February 2025, the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NAME) organized a Career Talk aimed at guiding students in their professional development and career planning. The session created a valuable platform for students to gain firsthand insights into the marine and maritime industries from seasoned professionals. The event was arranged with four esteemed speakers: Md. Monirul Islam, CEO of United Naval Architects; Mr. Shamsul Alam, Managing Director of Marine House Ltd.; Md. Moshfiqur Rahman, an experienced Marine Surveyor; and Captain Mohammed Tareq (E), psc, BN. Each speaker shared their unique career journeys, personal achievements, and perspectives on emerging trends in the maritime sector. The event served as an eye-opener for many, offering insights into recruitment practices and evolving opportunities in the field.
